A new provincial draw was conducted by Prince Edward Island. Invitations have been sent to 142 skilled worker and entrepreneur candidates. The draw was issued on March 17 under Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program under Labor Impact and Business Impact categories. Out of these 142 invitations, 130 invitations were sent to the candidates under Labor Impact and Express Entry, while 11 invitations were sent to Business Impact candidates.

PEI Express Entry System considers the candidates whose name is available for a provincial nomination. Such candidates get a score of 600 Comprehensive Ranking System score automatically. It is a guarantee that they will be sent an invitation to apply. There are two pathways which immigrants can use to get Canadian permanent residence.

PEI Business Impact Category
This category has only one stream, and that is Work Permit Stream Candidates who are applying for this stream must have a Canadian Work Permit. He should also have worked for a business in PEI according to the performance agreement. After the performance agreement is fulfilled, candidates have to invest $150,000.
