Australia has plans to increase the number of skilled migrants who migrate to Australia. The plan is to raise the annual immigration cap from 160,000 to a higher count so that the scarcity of skilled workers in various industries is solved.
The requirement for higher immigrant intake is much more glaring considering the fact that many key industries are facing huge labor shortages. These industries include IT and healthcare.
