Express Entry Draw Stats

The Express Entry draws were first announced in January 2015. Over time, the Express Entry draws were held more frequently, even achieving a target of processing 80% of the applications within six months.

However, the predictability of the Express Entry draws has become uncertain post-pandemic. The type of draw, number of Invitations, and the minimum CRS points no longer maintain a periodic pattern.

As of June 2023, the Express Entry draws were held frequently every two weeks. Category-based Express Entry draws were announced on May 31, 2023, and the first category-based draw was conducted on June 28, 2023, for Healthcare professionals.

• 12 Express Entry draws were held between June 27 and August 15, including a series of category-based selection draws.
