It was also found that employees with a diploma or certificate earn a mean salary of more than 16% compared to their counterparts who had completed up to only high school. Employers have modified their average budgets for 2022 by increasing salaries significantly due to the Great Resignation effect. While Ontario is seeing predictions rise from the earlier figure of 2.9% to 3.4% now, it is around 3.5% for Quebec, 3.3% for British Columbia, and 3.2 % for Alberta. One of the firm's consultants says the salary hikes are considerable across the country and verticals. Meanwhile, companies are earmarking about 62% for referral bonuses, 37% for hiring bonuses, 33% for discretionary bonuses, 32% for hiking salary budgets, 32% for retention bonuses, and 12% for skills-based premiums.
