As a result of an agreement reached at by Denmark and Norway, from June 15, 2020, Norwegians will be permitted to travel to Denmark. They can travel for any purpose whatsoever. They can now even use a Denmark tourist visa to make a tour of the country.
These two Nordic states have had border closure between them owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This new development will also enable the citizens of Denmark to travel to Norway, say on a Norway tourist visa. The two countries have agreed to reopen for tourist trips between them from the middle of June.
Both countries are working on common solutions to begin leisure travel. The Norwegian Prime Minister has been particular about respecting the preventive measures and rules set for COVID-19.
According to her, tourists in both nations must become familiar with the national rules for travel and control of infections. They should follow these rules for the well-being of all.
Norway is being forthcoming with the idea of establishing the same manner of approach to reopen borders with other Nordic countries.
