New Brunswick’s labor market is reflecting the national trend seen in Canada that’s on course to economic recovery post the COVID-19 pandemic. The unemployment rate is decreasing and the number of full-time jobs is increasing. This is the right time to learn how to migrate to Canada and settle in New Brunswick.

In November 2021 itself, when 32,000 jobs were created by Canada, New Brunswick created 1,300 of them. This was revealed by the report of Statistics Canada. The unemployment rate came down to 8.5% from 9.1%.
A GDP growth of 3.6% by the end of 2021 is predicted by eminent economists. In 2022 the same is expected to be 2.6%.
New Brunswick has taken measures to improve its hiring status. One such move is joining other provinces in announcing a system of vaccine passports for non-essential services. The revival in hiring in New Brunswick is expected to work out well when such measures are combined with an increased vaccination rate.
Also, in September 2020, Arlene Dunn was appointed as the provincial minister for immigration in the province. This was to improve immigration to New Brunswick.
Keeping in view the need for more foreign workers to fill job vacancies in the province, it will be urging the federal government to increase the annual allowable limit of immigrants of the province to at least 10,000.

You can apply for a Canada PR visa and settle in New Brunswick as an entrepreneur if you meet the following criteria:
Canada immigration through Atlantic Immigration Pilot
If you are a skilled worker with experience in professional, management, or skilled/technical jobs, who has a job offer to work for at least a year, you can immigrate via Atlantic High-Skilled Program.
If you have an offer for a permanent job that needs a high school education and/or training for a specific job, can apply for immigration via Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program.
If you have a diploma, degree, or another credential from an institution that’s publicly funded you can immigrate to Canada through Atlantic International Graduate Program. You must have a job offer from New Brunswick that is valid for at least a year. Work experience isn’t mandatory under this pilot.
You will need a provincial endorsement for each job offer made in the province. The employer in the province handles the application for the endorsement. But before that, you must have a settlement plan for the province.
