On September 14, 2022, IRCC conducted an Express Entry draw through which 3,250 Canada immigration candidates were invited and offered the opportunity to apply for a Canada PR visa. This was the biggest Express Entry draw conducted as yet in 2022.

Candidates from FSWP, FSTP, and CEC streams participated in the Express Entry draw. In case 2 or more candidates have the lowest score, the score considered as the cut-off will be decided on the basis of the date and time the candidates submitted their Express Entry profiles.

It’s interesting to note that the minimum score requirements are decreasing and the number of invitations issued is increasing with every draw conducted by the IRCC. In the last 3 draws conducted in August 2022, the minimum score requirements decreased from 533 to 525 to 516. At the same time, the number of invitations sent in those 3 federal Express Entry draws had increased from 2,000 to 2,250 to 2,750.
