SINP invited 576 new Canada immigration candidates in the PNP immigration draw held by Saskatchewan on December 17, 2020. The candidates were sent invites to apply for a provincial nomination for Canada PR.
The candidates were invited from the International Skilled Worker category via 2 subcategories namely:
The candidates who received invitations in this draw had work experience in select jobs. The distribution of invites among candidate categories was as follows:
The selected candidates were required to have an EOI profile submitted with Saskatchewan PNP. All candidates invite had a minimum EOI score of 71. All invited candidates had to get their Educational Credential Assessments done.
The work experience of the candidates had to be in one of the 89 occupations stipulated by SINP. The SINP employs the EOI selection system to ensure that the chosen ones have the greatest potential to meet the needs of the labor market.
Candidates must demonstrate their commitment to settling in Saskatchewan and working there to build a life and career. For this, they have to showcase their education, work experience, age, language skills, and connections to Saskatchewan.
The Points Assessment Grid for International Skilled Worker category is used by Saskatchewan to rank the candidates with profiles in SINP. The maximum score is 100. The candidates who score the highest are issued an ITA for a provincial nomination from Saskatchewan.
Lately, the province has started to give more EOI points to those with skills in French and English.
