On September 8, 2021, Saskatchewan PNP invited 528 immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination. These candidates came from the following sub-categories of SINP:
The candidate who scored the least in this SINP draw had 66 points on the EOI ranking system. The selected candidates were in 16 eligible occupations and both categories of candidates required ECA to show that their qualification had parallels in the Canadian standard.
Occupations In-demand sub-category
This is a base PNP sub-category. The candidates under this category are those without an Express Entry profile.
Highly skilled immigration candidates with experience working in an in-demand occupation in Saskatchewan are invited through this sub-category. These candidates don’t have a job offer in Saskatchewan.
To apply for Canada PR via this sub-category, immigration candidates have to create an EOI via the online application system of SINP.
Express Entry sub-category
This sub-program is tied to the most popular system through which immigrants reach Canada and its provinces like Saskatchewan: Express Entry.
The Express Entry system is tasked with the management of applications from international candidates to immigrate to Canada. These candidates will be applying for 3 economic-class immigration programs namely FSWP, CEC, and FSTP.
These candidates will need an EOI profile besides their Express Entry profile to participate in Saskatchewan PNP draws. Only then shall they be invited to apply for a provincial nomination.
With a provincial nomination from Saskatchewan, these candidates will also get 600 CRS points. This makes them almost sure of getting an ITA for Canada PR in an upcoming federal Express Entry draw.
