An introduction to SINP

The SINP (Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program) is an immigration pathway for foreign nationals to immigrate to Canada.

Saskatchewan Invites applications from non-Canadians for provincial nominations that lead to permanent residency in Canada. These applicants will be those who are willing to make Saskatchewan their destination to live and work in Canada upon immigration.

The SINP nominates applicants to the federal government for Canada PR. The SINP is just one of the steps you can take to become a permanent resident in the province of Saskatchewan. Every approved applicant has to also apply for a Canada PR visa through IRCC.

The benefits of SINP include:

  • Application processing times are competitive.
  • Provincial immigration officers will render assistance and explain requirements.

The Saskatchewan government is the authority that makes the final decision on SINP nominations. At the time of applying for Canada PR with IRCC, SINP’s successful candidates will be identified as SINP nominees.
