The RNIP, a community-driven program is designed to extend economic immigration’s benefits to the smaller communities in Canada. This will be done by creating a pathway for skilled foreign workers to get Canada PR. Thus, they will be able to live and work in one of RNIP’s participating communities in North Okanagan.
Vernon-North Okanagan is one of the 11 communities that are participating in RNIP.
In a latest update, some of the requirements to let employers hire more employees are offered from December 1, 2020.
Since February 2020, when RNIP was introduced, 21 applications have been received out of which 19 have been accepted. To help accelerate the Vernon-North Okanagan community’s development, it has relaxed its criteria for applicants to join RNIP.
