Quebec to welcome 112,000 foreign immigrants per year by 2023. The French-speaking country’s businesses are declining due to a shortage of skilled workforce in the province.

In observance of this, the province has set Immigration plans for 2023 – 2025, where it has stated the number of immigrants that can be invited in the years 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Quebec set immigration levels plan for 2023 – 2025 to tackle the province’s workforce shortages as businesses are unable to fill the vacant jobs.

Currently, Quebec aims to invite around 50,000 immigrants per year as of its immigration levels plan released recently.

Canada’s Immigration levels plan 2023 – 2025

Canada has already set Immigration levels to plan for 2023-2025 recently where the federal government targeted 465,000 immigrants for next year and Quebec to bring a share of 102,300 newcomers from them. But the province has just stated half of its number as of now.

Canada is to spend $1.6 billion for six years & $315 million for one year on the processing of applications and immigrants settlement as per the 2023-2025 immigration Levels plan.

The Canadian government also allotted $50 million to process the backlog applications.

The maple leaf country already set a new record by inviting 430,000 immigrants to Canada this year.

Canada continues to tackle the declining businesses by planning to invite 301,250 newcomers through just economic class immigration programs.

Canada expects 100% full growth in the country’s workforce by 2032 with its immigration plans and immigration pathways.
