Quebec’s International Student Program helps international students to study in Canada. Now, the process of applying for the program has been facilitated online.
Using this facility, the student can submit all supporting documents and post an application successfully.
In 2008 the Government of Quebec had shifted to the online application system for its international student program.
Most of the applications for temporary selections for study programs are already being submitted via a dedicated online portal. But the accompanying documents had still to be mailed to the ministry.
Now, Quebec’s Immigration Ministry has implemented a secure solution to facilitate this process for international students. The solution, a new immigration application management system of Quebec, is called Arrima.
The introduction of Arrima has not made the old way of mailing the application and supporting documents invalid though.
After completing the application and submitting it on Arrima, and then paying the required fees, the student can proceed to submit documents. There are 4 steps to it:
By creating a profile on Arrima, the applicant expresses his/her interest to migrate to Quebec. The profile is then placed in the pool of candidates. They are then ranked based on either a score or other criteria.
