Young Immigrant Funding

The announcement of a $5.3 million investment was made by the Immigration of Quebec to support the provincial immigration crowd.

Quebec Immigration Minister Christine Fréchette stated that adolescence and early adulthood are the most integral part of the growth and developmental stage. The Quebec government plans to establish multiple programs for immigrant children to boost their potential and knowledge development.

Quebec’s Program to Accompany and Support Integration (PASI) is set to overlook 13 different developmental projects.

Immigrant youth programs by Quebec

Some of the programs that were initiated to support young immigrants are given below -

  • Multidisciplinary artistic programs instituted and developed by fellow youth members.
  • Programs to encourage active participation in public life in a democracy.
  • Programs to support immigrants with hearing impairments.
  • Programs that encourage youth to partake in municipal activities and community services.
