Quebec province in Canada had announced a series of updates to enhance its immigration system. QSW will launch a system of EOI - Expression of Interest for managing visa applications. It is known as ARRIMA.
ARRIMA is based on the Express Entry system at the federal level in Canada. It requires the aspiring immigrants to furnish their personal details and EOI. This is for being considered for QSW, as quoted by the CIC News.
Upon submission of EOI, Quebec will choose specific competitive applicants. It will then invite them to furnish applications for a CSQ – Quebec Selection Certificate.
Y-Axis Immigration Expert Vasantha Jaganathan has said that the new system is a welcome development. It will permit both the applicants and their Immigration Consultants to create individual ARRIMA accounts. The IC must send a virtual request to the client over ARRIMA prior to commencing work on their EOI, she added.
After the EOI of the client is ready for submission, the client must confirm the submitted details. This must be done through their ARRIMA account.
It was also announced by Quebec that ARRIMA will also be accessible to the employers in the province. This is for those who intend to hire skilled overseas workers for job vacancies in Quebec.
