Nova Scotia’s new immigration plan 2022-2023
The willingness of Nova Scotia to invite more Canada immigrants was made apparent recently. This happened when the province announced its provincial nomination allocations for 2022.
In comparison to 2021, there has been an increase of 1,573 in allocation numbers. In 2022, the total number of allocations was set at 5,430 Canada immigration applicants.
The fresh allocations were made for Nova Scotia PNP and Atlantic Immigration Program. They were confirmed by IRCC. The federal government has already expressed its commitment to the expansion of allocation targets for these programs over the next 3 years.
“Nova Scotia is a special place and we are excited that more and more people see a future for themselves and their families here. Population growth is vital to our economic success. We have been preparing for growth, working with employers, communities, and settlement organizations to get ready for more people to call Nova Scotia home.” |
