From June 1, 2020, the UK has started a phased reopening of Sopra Steria UK Visa and Citizenship Application Centers (UKVCAS) Service Points. This has great relevance to UK immigration.
This is happening along with the reopening of visa application centers outside the UK. Thus, immigration to the UK could now pick pace.
The current appointments at these centers are only available to those who had received an appointment that’s pending because of suspension of services owing to COVID-19.
The initial set of services will be available in a limited number of locations in the UK and abroad.
Most of those arriving in the UK from June 8, 2020, must self-isolate in quarantine for 2 weeks. For appointments that never were materialized before the suspension due to COVID-19 began, the candidates must do rebooking. The explanation of suspension and instructions for rebooking will be communicated via email. Such rebooking will not be charged.
