On May 20, 2022, Prince Edward Island held a draw under PEI PNP or Express Entry, Labour Impact, and Business Impact Prince Edward Island PNP. The draw sent out invitations to 153 candidates for Canada PR or permanent residency.

Candidates in the Business Impact pool had to score at least 62.

Details of the Draw

The Prince Edward Island PNP or Provincial Nominee Program draw issued invitations to 16 candidates from the Business Impact pool, and 137 applicants from the Labour Impact and Express Entry pool were issued ITA or The Invitation to Apply.

Stream of Prince Edward Island Express Entry

The applications of those candidates whose profile exists in the Express Entry pool are eligible for the PEI PNP.

The nominations through PNP add 600 extra points to the applicant's CRS or Comprehensive Ranking System score. A profile in the PNP pool increases the chances of a candidate who migrate to Canada to be issued an ITA. The category has two pathways for Canadian PR. One is aimed at the candidates with a job offer, and the other is for those who do not have a job offer.
