Highlights of PEI PNP draw

• PEI has been making monthly draws ever since 2018.
• The candidates were invited after an assessment of Labor Impact, Business Impact, and Express Entry streams in the province.
• Business Impact candidates required a minimum score of 60 points.

Abstract: Prince Edward Island invited 165 candidates from the pool of immigrant skilled workers and entrepreneurs.

Prince Edward Island held a draw recently through the PEI PNP or Labor Impact, Business Impact, and Express Entry streams. The draw sent out 165 ITAs or invitations to apply.

The candidates in the pool of Business Impact had to score at least 60 points.

Details of the PEI PNP draw

The Prince Edward Island PNP or Provincial Nominee Program draw sent out invitations to 27 candidates from the Business Impact pool, and 138 invitations from the Labor Impact and Express Entry pool.

The ITA facilitates international immigrants to submit an application in the pool for Canada PR or permanent residency.

Stream of Prince Edward Island Express Entry

The applicants whose profile already exists in the pool of Express Entry are eligible for the PEI PNP.

The applicants who are nominated through PNP are awarded an additional 600 points in the CRS or Comprehensive Ranking System.

If the applicant's profile already exists in the PNP pool, the chance of being invited increases. The category has two pathways for people who migrate to Canada. One is aimed at the candidates with a job offer, and the other is for those who do not have a job offer.
