October 15, 2020, saw Ontario conduct a new Tech draw that issued 772 NOIs to candidates who may qualify for the Express Entry HCP stream. The Express Entry candidates required a minimum CRS score between 462 and 470 points to be invited in the draw.
They were also required to have work experience in any of the following jobs:
No job offer was needed in hand for the candidates to qualify for an invitation. Nevertheless, they had to have a year of work experience in any of the above-said tech occupations. They also needed to have a profile in the Express Entry system.
An NOI received from Ontario will have to be reciprocated with an application for provincial nomination within 45 calendar days. Upon getting nominated, 600 extra points will be added to the candidate’s CRS score. This makes sure that the candidate will get an ITA for PR in a future Express Entry draw.
