Ontario PNP releases new form for Employer Offer Stream. Check your eligibility now!

Highlights: A new form for Employer Offer Stream was released by Ontario PNP.

 

• The Ontario Provincial Nominee Program released an updated version of the Employer Offer Stream.
• All new applicants must use the “Application for Approval of Employment Position” form for a nomination to the Employer: Job Offer Stream.
• Submitting an older version of the form would result in rejection of the application, as mentioned by OINP
• OINP announced different eligibility requirements for the Employer Offer Stream.

New Form for Employment Offer Stream

The Ontario PNP has released a revised form for the Employment Offer Stream. Following the recent changes made on April 10, new applicants are to use the Application for Approval of Employment Position while applying for a nomination to the Employer: Job Offer Stream of the OINP.

 

The OINP also notified that applications with the older version of the form would be returned as incomplete. In such cases, the application fees will also be refunded by the OINP.

Eligibility Requirements for Employment Job Offer Stream

The OINP mentioned separate eligibility criteria for different job offer streams.

 

Foreign Worker Stream

You would be eligible to apply under this stream if:

 

• You have two successive years of work experience in the last five years before you apply
• You have the compulsory licensing in Ontario that is pertinent and required for your position
• You intend to settle permanently in Ontario or live abroad and work, study, and visit Canada with a valid permit.
• You have a full-time permanent job offer under NOOC TEER category 1,2 or 3, fulfilling the average salary levels for Ontario, and your job position is necessary to that business

International Student Stream

You would be eligible to apply under this stream if:

 

• You have graduated or fulfilled the requisites of a full-time two-year degree from a Canadian college or University that is publicly funded OR
• You have graduated or meet the requisites of a full-time minimum one-year post-graduate diploma program from a Canadian college or University that is publicly funded.
• Half of your studies are completed at Canadian institutes
• You have completed your recent study program in Canada less than two years ago
• You hold a legal status in Ontario
• You intend to settle in Ontario permanently
• You have a full-time and permanent position under a NOC TEER category 1, 2, or 3, Skill Type ) or Skill Type A or B that meets the minimum salary levels for Ontario, and your job position is necessary to that business.

In-Demand Skills Stream

Candidates with specific and demanding skills in Ontario would be eligible to apply under this stream if:

 

• You have paid and full-time work experience in one of the applicable job positions for at least 9 successive months in the last three years. You would also be eligible if you have equivalent part-time work experience in Ontario, but seasonal work will not be considered.
• Your educational qualification equals a high school education in Canada or higher.
• You have valid and required certificates for the work experience you claim to have
• Your English or French language competency score is at least CLB/NCLC 4
• You intend to settle permanently in Ontario or live abroad and work, study, and visit Canada with a valid permit.
• You have a full-time and permanent job position in the agricultural or construction sector and fulfill the average salary levels in Ontario for the job position.
