Ontario issues 528 invites to Express Entry candidates

Ontario invited 528 Express Entry immigration candidates with tech experience on April 13, 2021. The candidates were eligible for the Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream of Ontario.

These candidates had Express Entry profiles with a CRS score ranging from 456 to 467.

The candidates were required to have a minimum work experience of 1 year in one of the following jobs:

• NOC 2174 - Computer programmer & interactive media developers
• NOC 2175 - Web designers & developers
• NOC 2173 - Software engineers & designers
• NOC 2147 - Computer engineers
• NOC 2172 - Database analysts & data administrators
• NOC 0213 - Computer & information systems managers

An ECA will be done for candidates with foreign education. This will prove that they have a qualification that’s equivalent to a Canadian degree.

Candidates who got invitations have 45 calendar days to file an application for Ontario’s PNP. Candidates who get nominated will get 600 extra CRS points. This will effectively guarantee that they will receive an ITA in an upcoming federal immigration draw. This will be their pathway to Canada PR.
