Ontario issues 126 invites to French-Speaking immigration candidates

OINP conducted a new immigration draw via the stream namely French-Speaking Skilled Worker. This stream is linked with the Express Entry. The draw that was held on March 3, 2021, issued NOIs to 126 Canada immigration candidates.

The selected candidates had CRS scores between 455 and 467. The candidates had to submit their Express Entry profiles between March 3, 2020, and March 3, 2021. The candidates also had to have CLB 7 score in French and CLB 6 score in English if they wanted to qualify.

The following are the requirements for an applicant of the stream of French-Speaking Skilled Worker to qualify:

  • An application pending under the Federal Express Entry system
  • A work experience of 1 year in a full-time/full-time equivalent job under NOC occupation level 0, A, or B
  • Bachelors degree, Masters degree, or Ph.D. that has a Canadian equivalent
  • A CLB level of at least 7 in the TEF exam (French) as well as a CLB level of at least 6 in the IELTS exam (English)
  • An intention to live in the Canadian province of Ontario
