On June 3, 2020, Ontario conducted a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw. It invited Express Entry candidates who have a minimum of 1 year’s work experience in any of the 9 jobs listed. These eligible candidates were invited to apply for a provincial nomination from Ontario.

This Ontario PNP (Ontario Provincial Nominee Program) draw selected candidates, in all probability eligible for the Express Entry HCP (Human Capital Priorities Stream) to be invited.
The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score asked of the candidates was between 358 and 439.
167 invitations were given to candidates with work experience in Canada.
532 invitations were sent to international candidates who required a CRS score between 471 and 500.

A nomination from PNP effectively guarantees that a candidate will get an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian Permanent Residence (PR) in an upcoming Canada Express Entry draw.
Ontario has a maximum allocation to invite 7,600 principal applicants. In this, 250 nominations are for temporary workers. They may be from the NOC (National Occupation Classification) skill level C or intermediate skilled jobs.
In 2019 more than half of Ontario’s 7,391 provincial nominees were Express Entry candidates.
