New Zealand is slowly reopening the immigration categories from mid-November after pausing it during the COVID-19 and border closures.
Two immigration streams are getting reopened by New Zealand.
It is one of the highly opted and most popular visa routes for migrants and their families to be permanent residents in New Zealand.
It is also known as a resident visa under the skilled migrant classification permits candidates to study, work and live in New Zealand permanently. Also allows them to bring their partner and dependent children who are under the age of 24 or less.

What’s the new Investor Visa for investors who migrate to New Zealand?
The Parent Resident visa permits the parents of residents or citizens of New Zealand to stay in the country indefinitely. Only if the children or grandchildren make sufficient money and agree to become their sponsors.
Parent Resident visa holders will be allowed to stay for around 6 months in the country. The total maximum stay of the parents under this visa is 18 months in 3 years.
New Zealand government has plans to uncap, modify and simplify the points system for the migrants who do not come under the immigration programs.
