The Australian state of New South Wales is working on plans to bring back international students and skilled workers. They had left the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Australian government is setting aside 1,000 weekly quarantine spots in critical areas. These are for international students returning to study in Australia and business professionals.
The aim is to bring back NSW’s share of international students and skilled workers willing to work in Australia. It will be done without causing a disadvantage to the Australian citizens and Australia PR who want to return home to Australia.
With the help of other states to share a load of returnees by helping to accommodate them. These returnees are key to the economic recovery and development post-COVID-19 crisis.
Now that Victoria has opened up to international arrivals, there will be more room created for more inbound travelers in time. The growth of capacity to accommodate the incoming travelers will be in sync with the growth in demand for migration to NSW.
