The UAE has waived off the visa requirement for Mexican citizens travelling to the UAE. The announcement of the same was made the UAE Cabinet on Monday.
The visa-waiver decision was made during the first meeting of the 2020 Year of Preparation. The meeting was headed by His Highness Sheikh Mohd. Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and PM of the UAE.
The new move means that all Mexican passport holders will no longer need a visa to travel to the UAE.
His Highness Sheikh Mohd. said that 2019 was a year of achievements for the UAE on several grounds. He said that 2019 went by on a high note and he was proud of his Govt. working teams. He also said that the UAE was full of positive energy and excitement for the 2020 Year or Preparation and the next fifty years in the future.
His Highness Sheikh Mohd. has further said that 365 days of the past year was marked by several achievements scored by the UAE. The country made numerous achievements in almost all the fields, including:
His Highness Sheikh Mohd. also expressed his pride in the achievements of the UAE over the past fifty years. He added that the UAE Govt. and the Federal teams view the next fifty years as a challenge. The year 2020 marks fifty years of achievements for the UAE. The year 2020 also welcomes the next fifty years of hard work and perseverance in the service of the country and its citizens.
