A Manitoba PNP draw was held on July 14, 2022, with 366 invitations issued to apply for a provincial nomination. Here are the details of the Manitoba PNP draw:

SKILLED WORKERS IN MANITOBA
No. of LAAs (Letters of Advice to Apply) issued: 293
Ranking score of the lowest-ranked candidate invited: 699
INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION STREAM
No. of LAAs (Letters of Advice to Apply) issued: 40
SKILLED WORKERS OVERSEAS
No. of LAAs issued: 33 (candidates invited directly by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative)
Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 715

Of the 366 LAAs issued in this draw, 55 were sent to Canada immigration candidates who declared a valid Express Entry ID and a job seeker validation code. *Know your eligibility to immigrate to Canada, through Y-Axis Canada Immigration Points Calculator. All applicants to the MPNP (Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program) who are filing applications under the Skilled Workers Overseas stream have to show that they have an established connection to Manitoba. This can either be through

  • The support of friends or family members
  • Previous education or work experience in the province
  • An ITA (Invitation to Apply) issued directly by the MPNP to the applicant as part of a Strategic Recruitment Initiative

  • Live-in caregivers currently residing in Canada
  • Refugee claimants, or persons involved in a federal appeal or removal process
  • Spouses of Canada permanent residents or Canadian citizens
  • TFWs (Temporary Foreign Workers) currently working and living in a Canadian province other than Manitoba
  • Persons who faced refusal by the MPNP within the last 6 months and individuals not able to address the reason(s) for refusal
  • Persons who have an active application for immigration with any other federal immigration program or provincial immigration program in Canada.
