Manitoba held the latest draw on 7th November. The province issued 180 invitations to Express Entry candidates, skilled workers and international graduates.
Invitations were issued by the MPNP under the following categories:
Skilled Workers in Manitoba
Skilled Workers Overseas
International Education Stream
The MPNP issues invitations under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Overseas categories based on your EOI score. You need to file an EOI with the MPNP to apply under any of these categories. Your EOI will be scored on the Manitoba points grid. Your EOI will receive a score out of a total of 1,000 points. High-scoring candidates are then invited through regular draws conducted by the MPNP.
The results of the 7th November draw are as follows:
Skilled Workers in Manitoba: 133
Skilled Workers Overseas: 24
International Education Stream: 23
The 7th November draw invited 23 Express Entry candidates with a valid profile and job-seeker code. To be considered by the MPNP for a provincial nomination, EE candidates need to file a separate EOI with the MPNP.Skilled Workers in Manitoba
If you have a permanent, full-time job offer from Manitoba, you can apply under this stream.
The cut-off score in the 7th November draw was 560.
Skilled Workers Overseas
If you live outside Canada but have skills which are high in demand in Manitoba, you may apply under this category. However, you must be able to prove a connection to Manitoba. Your “connection” could be a close relative, previous education or work experience in Manitoba.
It is not necessary for you to be in Manitoba at the time of applying.
The cut-off score in the 7th November draw was 719.
International Education Stream
If you have completed your graduation from an educational institution in Manitoba, you may apply under this stream. You should also be able to demonstrate skills which are in demand in the province.
Manitoba has issued 6,911 invitations so far in 2019.
