Manitoba has invited 296 candidates in its latest PNP draw

On February 12, 2021, Manitoba invited 296 immigration candidates in its latest PNP draw. This third draw held by MPNP in 2021. This draw has brought the province’s total invitations to 786 immigration candidates in 2021.

This draw invited international graduates and skilled workers through the Canada immigration streams of:

• International Education stream
• Skilled Workers in Manitoba
• Skilled Workers Overseas

The following is how LAAs and minimum EOI scores have been distributed among candidates of different streams:

Express Entry candidates received 20 LAAs in total.

Express Entry is the main pathway for immigrants to arrive in Canada as skilled workers to work in Canada, in its provinces. The Express Entry system manages an application from any Canada PR visa applicant. The applicant profiles in the Express Entry pool are ranked based on factors such as age, work experience, education, and skills in the English or French language.

When you are nominated by a province through a PNP draw, your CRS score increases by 600 points. That guarantees that you will get an ITA in the next federal Express Entry draw coming up, which enables you to take a lead and apply for a Canada PR visa.

If you have registered an EOI with the Mantioba PNP you could get an LAA via the Skilled Worker Overseas or Skilled Worker Manitoba immigration streams.

Like the CRS in Express Entry, Manitoba also assigns a rank for every profile out of 1,000 points considering the factors considered in CRS along with the connections of the applicant in Manitoba.

It’s through its immigration streams that Manitoba gets skilled workers to meet its labor market needs. To get an invitation under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba category, a candidate will require an offer for a full-time job from a provincial employer.
