Latest round of Canberra Matrix invites 171 applicants

If you are interested to work and live in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) of Canberra, you will have to qualify in the scoring system used by ACT. As one of the most happening cities of Australia, many migrants come to the country through immigration Australia’s work or resident visa.

The most recent Canberra Matrix round took place on April 21, 2020. 171 applicants were invited in the round to apply for state sponsorship. They came under the ACT 190 nomination class. All Matrix submitted had 95 to 70 points.

There were no invitations issued In the ACT 491 Nomination. This was because of the presence of sufficient Subclass 491 applications in the queue. These applications are slated to be taken up in the May 2020 monthly allocation of Subclass 491 nomination places.

Under Skilled Nominated Subclass 190, nominated skilled workers can live and work in Australia with permanent residence. They can work and study at any place in Australia. They can also sponsor relatives eligible for permanent residence in Australia. The visa holder may eventually become an Australian citizen.

The Skilled Work Regional (Provincial) Subclass 491 is a provisional visa. It's meant for skilled workers planning to live and work in regional Australia. With this visa, they can stay in Australia for 5 years. They are permitted to work, live, and study in a regional area designated in Australia. They are also allowed to travel to and from the country any number of times. The only condition is that the visa must not have crossed its validity period.
