Latest Manitoba PNP draw: 518 immigration candidates receive a PR nomination

Highlights of the latest Manitoba PNP draw on November 18, 2022

• Skilled foreign workers and international students were invited to accept a PR nomination on November 18, 2022.
• In all, 518 Canada immigration candidates received invitations through a Manitoba PNP
• Of the 518 candidates who received LAAs (invitations), 125 had a valid Express Entry profile number as well as a job seeker validation code.

On November 18, 2022, the latest Manitoba PNP draw paved the way for 518 immigration candidates to be offered Canada PR nominations. These nominations went to skilled foreign workers and international students. These are the two most potential categories of candidates who can solve the requirement for skilled workers in the province.

About Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream

The SWM (Skilled Workers in Manitoba) immigration pathway issues nominations to applicants with a strong connection to Manitoba. This connection is established through current employment and necessary education and training, skills, official language proficiency, and work experience. They are expected to make an immediate and long-term contribution to the economy of Manitoba and the communities in the province.

About International Education Stream

The IES (International Education Stream) is meant for graduates from Manitoba. These are international students graduating from Manitoba who are capable of meeting the requirements of the industry. It also provides a faster pathway to PR nomination.

The SWO (Skilled Workers Overseas) immigration pathway issues nominations to applicants who have an established connection to Manitoba. The connection is established via:

• previous education/work experience in Manitoba
• the support of members of your family or friends in Manitoba
• an ITA received directly from the MPNP as part of a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
