News Highlights:

  • Canadian PM, Justin Trudeau, has made an announcement to ease wait times for accessing government services.
  • A new task force will be created to improve the quality of government services in Canada.
  • The focus on quicker dissemination of services from the government comes as a great way to stabilize and streamline Canada immigration

The fact that the Canadian government cares to keep immigration and Canada PR and Canadian citizens top quality and hassle-free makes Canada immigration the first choice of millions all over the world. This could be true for you too.

Canada has always cared about delivering the best services to its immigrants as well as citizens. This has been proven from time to time with policies of the Canadian government led by Justin Trudeau.

It’s the conviction of the Canadian government that immigrants and citizens in Canada deserve to access government services that are efficient and of high quality. They have to be timely, accessible, and make their lives easier.

The Government of Canada recognizes that the delays in the processing of applications for Canada immigration and passports are unacceptable. Hence, to ensure the efficiency of operations, the Canadian government is taking an urgent step to work on resolving such issues at the earliest.

The Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, made an important announcement declaring that his government will create a new task force for improving government services. The focus of the whole exercise will be on reducing wait times for Canadians.

The task force will be constituted by a committee of cabinet ministers. They will be tasked with the review of service delivery, identification of gaps and areas for improvement, and making necessary recommendations. All of these will ensure that Canadians across the length and breadth of the country will receive the government services of the highest quality.

Post the COVID-19 pandemic, Canada is aiming at a fast recovery which includes the need to increasingly adjust to a fast-paced world. In such a world, Canadians have resumed depending on government services.

In such a scenario, any delay they experience in the delivery of such services is unacceptable. This feeling is what led to and drives the task force to action. It will improve the processing of immigration applications and passports by identifying actionable areas of priority and outlining short-term as well as long-term solutions.

The task force will focus on reducing wait times. It will put in the right efforts to clear out backlogs. Also, the overall quality of services provided to Canadians will be improved.

It’s a fact that labor shortage is still a major cause of concern as it leads to delays in air travel around the world. This is especially true as the summer season has now started and the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions has led to greatly increased air traffic.
