In the latest development in Canada immigration, the fees for all Canada PR visa applications will be increased on April 30, 2022. The increment will be applicable to permit holders, economic class immigrants, family class immigrants, and humanitarian class immigrants. Since 2002, IRCC has increased the fees for Canada PR visa applications in April 2020. This was done to account for inflation and due to rising costs of PR processing and operations. This revision and the resulting increase in fees will lead to adjustment for inflation every 2 years. It will be applicable for all Canada PR applications including economic, humanitarian, and family immigration programs. Here’s the comparison between Canada PR visa fees charged today and the revised fees on April 30, 2022.
