How to immigrate to Canada from the UAE in 2021

Options to immigrate to Canada

Federal Economic Class

If you, a UAE resident, have a Canadian citizen or Canada PR visa holder as a family member who’s willing to sponsor you to live with them, you can apply through this pathway.

Your family member in Canada can sponsor you if you are:

A spouse	A common-law partner	Dependent child
Conjugal partner	Grandparent	Parent
Brother/Sister	Nephews/Niece	Orphaned Granddaughter/Grandson under 18 years of age not married or in a common-law relationship

The sponsor in Canada should:

• Be aged at least 18 years
• Have signed a sponsorship agreement through which you commit to providing financial support for the sponsored relative if needed
• Financially support a common-law partner, spouse, or conjugal partner for 3 years from the date of becoming a PR
• Financially support a dependent child for 10 years or until the child turns 25, whichever happens first

Transition to PR from being a temporary resident

The very obvious way could be to start off as a temporary worker, stay as long as needed, and in time apply for a Canada PR Visa.

Provincial Economic Class

Every province has its own immigration program that’s conducted under the Canada PNP. Sometimes the provincial immigration candidates will be chosen from the Canada Express Entry pool.
