France Talent Visa Eligibility

The newly launched four-year "Passport Talent" welcomes skilled non-EU nationals to live and work in France.

Highly qualified individuals from the following fields or professionals are eligible to apply:

• Researchers and artists
• Individuals distinguished in academia, education, science, literature, arts and sports.
• Entrepreneurs investing a minimum of €30,000 and holding a Master's degree or professional experience of 5 years.
• Founders or employees of innovative enterprises
• Employees posted in France by international companies
• Representatives of legal companies overseeing internal affairs in France.

However, it is stated that the employment contract and the applicant's stay in France must be more than three months or at least one year for highly qualified employees.

Salary Requirements

The salary requirements for talent visa holders would vary based on their employment category. 

The minimum salary range for individuals with international or national reputations would be 1.8 times that of employees of innovative projects.

• Highly qualified employees must earn 1.5 times the average gross salary in France. 
• Corporate appointees must require three times the minimum wage. 
• Talent visa holders must have financial resources equivalent to 70% of the minimum wage for each month in France.

The new four-year France Talent Visa has the following benefits:

• Spouses and children can join the primary visa holders in France and apply for are eligible for a multiyear residence permit.
• Family members above the age of 18 years are allowed to work in France.
• Applicants can get a Multiyear residence within two months of arrival in France.
• The multiyear residence permits can be renewed once every four years, provided the requirements are met.
• Talent Visa holders are exempt from the recent language requirements and do not have strict language proficiency requirements.
