Highlights: Canada’s First-ever Category-based draw for Transport Occupations

• The IRCC conducted the first category-based draw for the Transport Occupations on 20 September 2023.
• 1000 eligible candidates with experience in the Transport Occupation were invited via the draw.
• The CRS score required to receive an ITA via the draw was 435.
• IRCC also held an All-program Express Entry draw on 19 September 2023, inviting 3,200 candidates.

First Express Entry draw for Transport Occupations

Canada announced its first Express Entry Category-based selection draw for Transport Occupations and issued 1000 ITAs to eligible candidates. The draw was held on 20 September 2023 with a CRS score 435 to qualify.
On 19 September, Express Entry #263 draw invited 3,200 candidates to apply for Canada PR, with a CRS score 531.

The Transport Occupations include professions like Transport truck drivers, Engineer officers, water transport, Deck officers, water transport, and more.
