RPRF can be expanded as the Right of Permanent Residence Fee, and Candian permanent residents have to pay it after IRCC approves the application. The applicants will not get the permanent resident status until they pay the RPRF. The applications have to pay the Biometrics fee. Following aspects are covered in this fee.
Proof of funds The applications have to show the proof of funds so that they can meet the requirements of FSTP and FSWP. Both of these programs come under IRCC Express Entry. If a candidate has applied for immigration under CEC, there is no need to provide proof of funds. The amount related to the proof of funds depends on the size of the family and its size. It is estimated that 411,000 candidates are to be invited in 2022. Federal economic immigration programs will invite 110,500 candidates while the rest 81,500 will get their permanent residence through PNP.
Cost of immigrating to Canada depends on the programs and also on the province where a candidate wants to settle. In some provinces, the fee is non-refundable.
