Here we are again bringing you the summary of the provincial nomination draws that were conducted in Canada in the month of March 2021. This account of PNP draws will tell you a lot about the direction in which Canada immigration is going.
March 25, 2021 – Manitoba issues 335 LAAs
On March 25, 2021, Manitoba PNP issued 335 LAAs to immigration candidates via its 3 streams namely, Skilled Workers Overseas, Skilled Workers in Manitoba, and International Graduates. Skilled Workers in Manitoba got 285 LAAs. The lowest-ranked candidate scored 423 points.
Candidates of the International Graduates stream were sent 41 LAAs. The 9 LAAs left were issued to candidates of the Skilled Workers Overseas category. They were invited via a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. They required a minimum score of 711.
March 24, 2021 – Saskatchewan issues 418 invites to immigration candidates
On March 24, 2021, Saskatchewan PNP held a new EOI draw in which 418 invites to apply for provincial nomination across 2 streams. Candidates from the Occupations In-Demand category with skills and work experience in any of the 78 NOC-listed jobs got 235 invites. These candidates required a minimum score of 70 to be eligible.
Another 183 invites were issued to skilled and experienced Express Entry candidates similar to the other category. They also required at least 70 points to qualify.
March 23, 2021 – British Columbia issues 95 invites in a Tech Pilot draw
On March 23, 2021, British Columbia PNP held a Tech Pilot draw in which 95 invites were issued to international graduates and skilled workers. Invites were issued to candidates in the following streams:
The minimum score required for all the streams was 80 points.
March 18, 2021 – Prince Edward Island issues 150 invites to immigration candidates
On March 18, 2021, Prince Edward Island PNP conducted a draw in which invitations to apply for a provincial nomination were sent to 150 candidates from the skilled worker and entrepreneur categories. Invitations were issued via the streams namely Express Entry, Labor Impact, and Business Impact.
140 invites were issued to candidates from Express Entry and Labor Impact streams. Business Impact candidates got 10 invites, who needed a minimum score of 70 points.
March 16, 2021 – British Columbia held 2 new draws inviting 506 candidates
On March 16, 2021, BC held 2 PNP draws issuing invites to a total of 506 immigration candidates. 31 occupations that were earlier excluded owing to the COVID-19 were included again in the scope of this draw.
BC also conducted a second draw along with the general draw. The second draw targeted 2 NOC-approved jobs namely Restaurant and Food Service Managers (NOC 0631) and Retail and Wholesale Trade Managers (NOC 0621).
In the general draw, 428 invites were issued across 5 streams. The minimum scores ranged from 81 to 96.
In the second draw for specific NOCs, 78 invites were issued via 4 streams. The minimum score required of the candidates was 117.
March 11, 2021 – Manitoba issues 299 LAAs in PNP draw
On March 11, 2021, Manitoba held a PNP that issued 299 LAAs in total to immigration candidates in 3 MPNP streams. The distribution of LAAs was as follows:
March 11, 2021 – Saskatchewan issues 248 invites in PNP draw
SINP conducted a PNP draw on March 11, 2021, that invited 248 immigration candidates from 2 immigration streams. The invitations were sent in the following manner:
The candidates had skills and experience in one of the 76 NOC jobs.
March 9, 2021 – British Columbia issues 87 invites in Tech Pilot draw
On March 9, 2021, British Columbia issued 87 invites to international graduates and skilled workers. This Tech Pilot draw issued invites via 4 streams of BCPNP. The minimum score required of the candidates was 80 for all streams.

March 2, 2021 – Alberta issues 200 invites to immigration candidates
On March 2, 2021, Alberta PNP issued invites to 200 immigration candidates in a PNP draw. The minimum CRS score required of the candidates was 301. The candidates were required to be ready to permanently immigrate to Alberta. They should be working in a job that supports the diversification and economic development of the province.
