Looking for a safe and stable country for students? Surveys conducted by Navitas Insights reveals that Canada has been widely considered as safe and stable for international students. In fact, Canada has improved on this status, thanks to the country’s relentless efforts to handle the COVID-19 pandemic optimally.
Another great news who wishes to study in Canada is that while being safe and stable may not mean being open and welcoming, Canada has scored high on both these aspects. To make their time safe in Canada, international students are allowed to only attend colleges that have an approved COVID-19 readiness plan.
The approval will be granted by the provincial government in which the institution is situated. Students of any nationality can arrive in Canada to such approved institutions on a Canada study visa.
The first survey by Navitas Insights was conducted in May 2020. The results of that survey placed Canada at the top alongside Australia and New Zealand.
The second survey was conducted in September 2020. The results showed that Canada had improved its position, competing with the US instead of the Oceanian countries.
