Canada is gladly welcoming deserving Canada immigration candidates and offering them a chance to get a Canada PR visa. The country is trying to attract more skilled and resourceful immigrants who can contribute well to the economic development of the country.
Canada also has a huge immigration target to achieve in 2021. Now, as the vaccinations are largely successful, Canada is more open to travel and immigration.
More immigrants to arrive via Express Entry draw held on November 10, 2021
On November 10, 2021, 775 Express Entry candidates were invited to apply for a Canada PR visa. These selected immigration candidates were already holding provincial nominations received from an earlier PNP draw.
Being provincially nominated, they have been granted 600 extra CRS points. These additional points have helped bring up their CRS scores to benefit them in this Canada Express Entry draw by giving them the chance to apply for a Canada PR visa.
The selected candidates were to have at least 685 points to qualify for an invitation. This means that these candidates had basically 85 CRS points to which provincial nomination added 600 CRS points.
Since the COVID-19 started in March 2020, IRCC has been keen on involving PNP candidates only from the Express Entry pool. This was done because PNP candidates have already demonstrated to a Canadian territory or province that their immigration will bring great economic benefits to the region.
The Nov 10 draw had the second-lowest minimum score (cutoff score) in the PNP-only draw category since March 2020.
