A recent Canada immigration draw conducted by British Columbia had 237 immigration candidates invited to apply for provincial nomination. The draw was conducted on May 7, 2020.
The British Columbia PNP (BC PNP) sent invitations to deserving candidates who belonged to the Skills immigration stream and the Express Entry stream.
The 2 subcategories that were under the Express Entry BC stream were:
International Graduate - provincial score required was 106
Skilled Worker - provincial score required was 108
The invited candidates in the draw have their profiles in the federal Express Entry System. With a provincial nomination in hand, they will be guaranteed the receipt of an Invitation to Apply (ITA). The ITA will be a way that leads to getting a Permanent Residence (PR) in an upcoming federal Express Entry draw.
The 3 subcategories that were under the Skills Migration stream were:
International Graduate - Minimum provincial score was 106
Skilled Worker – Minimum provincial score was 102
Entry-Level and Semi-skilled - Minimum provincial score was 83
The candidates who have received ITAs have to submit their completed applications for the provincial nomination under BC PNP within 30 days. The days are counted from the day of receipt of their invitations.
