Highlights of changes in BillC19 Express Entry CRS score

BillC19 brings changes to Canada’s Express Entry system CRS score evaluation.
As per the amendments, points will be allotted to factors such as employment and academic experience, or fluency in English or French.
These changes will fulfil the country’s workforce demands and demographic needs.
Additional filters will be added to EE pool depending on the groups and categories instead of immigration class.

Below are the five important amendments in the Express Entry pool as per the BillC19:

Selection will be based on new groups and categories	Aims to bring additional filters to Express Entry pool based on categories and groupings instead of immigration class.
ITAs for Canada PR to specify eligibility categories	After the bill comes into effect, the new categories will be specified with eligibility criteria and requirements. For instance if an applicant qualifies for more than one category, then the invitation should specify the category for which the applicant must apply.
Economic goals for each category	In the set of instructions the economic goal should be mentioned clearly for each newly established categories.
Establishes exclusions for age	Applicants who lost their Canada PR, due to age will now get the PR easily, if they have scored well in other factors and lost points due to age will be given PR visa.
Categories for foreign nationals	Set of instructions should be added to any category for foreign nationals in Express Entry. This should have economic goal that supports the number of ITAs.
