Canada aspirants are quite familiar with the Provincial Nominee Programs. Getting a provincial nomination can put you on the fast track to a Canadian Permanent Residency. 

There are almost eighty different pathways to Canadian PR. The Provincial Nominee Programs allow provinces in Canada to select candidates that meet their eligibility requirements and labour needs. 

Many PNPs in Canada are aligned with the Federal Express Entry Program. A successful provincial nomination gets a candidate an additional 600 points on their CRS score. This multiplies the chances of getting an ITA for Canadian Permanent Residency.

1. Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) 

There are more than 200 occupations available under this PNP. Aspiring immigrants who are not scoring enough points to qualify through the Federal Express Entry Program may find it easier to succeed through this PNP. 

The eligibility requirements for this PNP are: 

• You should have at least one year of work experience in any one occupation on the in-demand occupation list of Saskatchewan 
• You should have completed at least post-secondary level education 
• You should be proficient in either English or French 

2. Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) 

Toronto in Ontario is a major tech hub in Canada and offers several job opportunities in the tech sector. The OINP offers several categories through which skilled workers and business owners can migrate to Canada. The most popular among these categories is the Human Capital Priorities Stream. 

To be eligible under the Human Capital Priorities Stream, you should have a CRS score of over 400. Candidates who are proficient in French can apply for a provincial nomination through the French-speaking Skilled Worker Stream. Candidates who have work experience working in an eligible trade occupation in Ontario can apply under the Skilled Trades Stream. 

3. Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) 

The Nova Scotia Nominee Program offers several options to skilled workers, entrepreneurs and international graduates to settle in Canada. 

The Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry is aligned with the Federal Express Entry Program. There are two categories under this program-Category A and Category B. Category A is for candidates who have an offer of employment from Nova Scotia. Category B is for candidates who have relevant work experience in an in-demand occupation in the province.
