The Australian Govt. has announced that it will soon review the migration program of Australia. The Joint Migration Committee of the Federal Parliament will head the upcoming review. The Committee generally looks at Australian detention centres& visa laws. However, the new review will also focus on population growth pressures and infrastructure problems. The move has come after Infrastructure Australia released a report. The report underlined the need for Australia to invest in infrastructure projects worth at least $200 billion every 5 years. That was the only way for the country to cope up with the rapid population surge. The report by Infrastructure Australia also stated that high investment is required for Australia to ensure roads and public transport. To improve the quality of life and increase economic productivity, it is important to provide water, electricity and health services. It is also important to build more schools and provide better education.Scott Morrison, Prime Minister, said that the report used data before the 2019-20 budget. Infrastructure projects worth $23 billion have been announced in the latest budget, as per 7News. 160 of these announced projects will focus on reducing the congesting in the major cities in Australia.Over the next 10 years, the Australian Govt. has committed to invest more than $100 billion in infrastructure.Y-Axis offers a wide range of visa services and products for aspiring overseas immigrants including Australia General Skilled Migration Program via RMA, Australia Skilled Regional Visa, Australia Temporary Skilled Work Visa, Australia Visitor Visa, and Australia Temporary Graduate Visa Subclass 485.
