The Australian government has announced its chronic shortages in some sectors' workforce and prioritized skilled visa applications for a few occupations. Education workers and Healthcare professionals are top of the list.
Australia has already decided on no PMSOL requirement to rank applicants who apply for a skilled visa. This vast step is taken because the list of Australia Skills shortage- 2022 is now two times than the 2022 list.
Currently, Australia is in a chronic shortage of teachers, which might increase to around 4,000 positions by 2025. Hence the Australian government has changed the Skilled Migration Program and how it will affect the candidate and has been granting the visas as early as possible, sometimes in just a few days.
