British Columbia (BC) has conducted yet another Tech Pilot with its BC PNP Tech Pilot on April 21, 2020. It’s yet another event that offers the opportunity to get to Canada PR immigration.
The BC PNP Tech Pilot is conducted by British Columbia immigration officials to speed up the processing of candidates immigrating to Canada. These candidates take up Canada immigration to reach British Columbia to work in key technology occupations. These occupations are in high demand in the province.
Invitations are sent to candidates who seek work in any of the 29 occupations listed in the BC technology sector.
In the draw on April 21, invitations were sent through 4 streams of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). For all these streams, the minimum score prescribed was 85. The streams involved were:
A total of 91 invitations were sent to eligible candidates in the draw.
The BC Tech Pilot opens up a great opportunity for technology workers with competent skills to work in Canada and find their footing in the country. The following requirements are stipulated by BC PNP Tech Pilot for candidates:

The candidate who gets a provincial nomination will effectively get selection under the Canada Express Entry System. An additional 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points will be added to the current score.
