Canada Social Survey 2023 Stats

Canada Social Survey is a survey conducted by Canada every quarter to better under the social and other issues within the country. The CSS 2023 Stats were collected from July 14, 2023, to September 7, 2023.

 

The factors that were taken into consideration for the survey are listed below:

1. Quality of life: Satisfaction with personal relationships and Trust in others are two key factors under the quality of life. Around 8 out of 1, of the Canadians have expressed satisfaction with their relationships with family members.

• 79% of the Canadians have a high level of satisfaction with their relationships with family members.
• 68% of the Canadians have a high level of satisfaction with their friends.
• 28% of the seniors are said to have a high level of trust in others.

How are the above factors measured?  

• Satisfaction with personal relationships: on a scale of 0 to 10, 0 meaning not at all satisfied and 10 meaning completely satisfied.
• Trust in others: On a scale of 0 to 10, 0 means one cannot be trusted at all, while 10 means one can be trusted completely.
• Trust in media: On a scale of 0 to 10, 0 not at all and 10 for entirely.

 

The statistics results were indexed based on the immigrant status, Racialized population group, and indigenous identities.
