The latest Migration policy of Germany

• The reform claiming "Anyone who can contribute to the country's economic success as a skilled worker is welcome" was recently approved by the cabinet of Germany.
• As per the report by Reuters, there will be a rise in the workers hired from nations outside the European Union at a rate of 60,000 candidates per year.
• Nancy Faeser, the Interior Minister of Germany, said the country would welcome anyone with practical professional expertise and personal competence to add to the economy.

Three pathways offered by Germany to international workers Germany offers three pathways for skilled professionals to enter the country. Below are the requirements for each pathway:

Pathway 1: A university degree or a professional degree is accepted and recognized in Germany, along with a contract of employment.

Pathway 2: Vocational training or prior work experience of at least two years in an admissible field along with a degree.

Pathway 3: An opportunity card is particularly for candidates with no employment offer but with the ability to fetch work in the sector of their choice.  The factors considered for the opportunity card are language abilities, work experience, age, connections with the country of Germany, and other qualifications. The points-based system tracks and rewards the scores accordingly.
