With signs of improvement in the COVID-19 infections in Switzerland, authorities are emboldened to reopen 5 crossing points at the border with France. This is in the canton of Geneva. It had remained closed due to preventive measures for COVID-19 spread.

Switzerland announced that border crossing points at Soral II, Mategnin, Veigy, Landecy, and Monniaz would be allowed to be passed. That permission will only be granted on weekdays.
